Katsuya apologizes and tells her that it is his nature to tease the girl that he likes. He says that he really wanted to see her, too. While Katsuya is eating an ice cream, he asks her if she has any plans on Golden Week. Sayuki says she doesn’t. He invites her to go out with him on the 5th to a faraway place so that no one will see them together. Sayuki is happy about this and decides to go. Seeing her looking happy, Katsuya teases her about being nervous on the first date and what should she wear.

The next day, Sayuki happily goes to class and is greeted by the others including Yukako. Sayuki asks why she is there. Yukako tells her that they have all decided to watch a baseball game during Golden Week on Yuushi’s birthday which is on May 5th. Sayuki remembers that it is Yuushi’s birthday and since Yuushi gave her something for her birthday, she should also give him something. She then remembers that it is the day when she has a date with Katsuya. Yukako asks if she is free on that day. Since Sayuki can’t quite say it, Yukako asks if she already has plans with Katsuya. Sayuki doesn’t want to say it because their relationship is a secret. Yuushi says that he doesn’t want Sayuki to go. Sayuki is stunned then she laughs it off by saying that she already has plans that day. Without looking at her, Yuushi says that is nice that she can’t go. This made Sayuki furious as she thought that even if he didn’t say it, she won’t go. While eating, Mina laughs and says that Yuushi is quite complicated. Sayuki exclaims why it is so. Shiori tells Sayuki that it isn’t that she doesn’t understand Yuushi but rather, she doesn’t want to think about her feelings and Yuushi’s feelings. At school, Sayuki is walking at the hallway and wonders what what Shiori said. She then meets with Yuushi. Yuushi sighs that Sayuki shouts that is what she should be doing, not him. Before Yuushi leaves, Sayuki decides to confront him because only the person himself knows what he is feeling and others won’t know if it isn’t said. She asks him to tell her if he hates her so that she won’t talk to him anymore and won’t have any relationship with him anymore. Yuushi decides to tell her. He tells her, “I like you but it’s all over, goodbye and don’t talk to me again.” Yuushi turns to leave. Sayuki is shock then recovers as she shouts for him to wait and stop kidding. She angrily shouts that after treating her like that before, now, he is saying he likes her. She mentioned about the eraser. It turns out that Yuushi has noticed that she doesn’t have any eraser so he tossed it to her. Unfortunately, it fell so he looked away, feeling gloomy when Sayuki tried to return it.

Sayuki hits him and shouts that she can’t believe that. Yuushi exclaims that he was quite embarrassed then. Sayuki shouts that he shouldn’t be saying things like that now. Sayuki realizes that she decided to hate Yuushi since Yuushi seems to also hate her because if she didn’t do that, she cannot accept it since she likes/liked Yuushi. Yuushi grabs her hand then tells her to come on the 5th. Sayuki pulls away and exclaims didn’t he had told her not to come. Yuushi tells her that if she came, that’s enough for him. “I’ll be waiting.” Yuushi leaves stunned/at-a-loss Sayuki. So, since chapter 15 is the finale, it will be a decision whether to go with Katsuya or celebrate Yuushi’s birthday. Poor Yuushi..it will be such a sad birthday if she didn’t come. Oh well, at least, everything is out in the open. Maybe later on, they can move on and just be friends. Sayuki didn’t realize that Katsuya’s teasing is pretty much like what Yuushi has been doing before.

Sayuki emails Katsuya that she will call him when she arrived at the station. She tells her mother that she will be going out tomorrow. Her mother asks where she is going. Sayuki exclaims that she is going out on a date with her boyfriend. Sayuki laughs that she doesn’t know where they are going until the day itself so she is quite excited that she can’t sleep. Her mother asks if she is going steady with Yuushi. Sayuki asks why it is Yuushi. Her mother says that it is because tomorrow is Yuushi’s birthday and she used to be always fixated over Yuushi. This made Sayuki gloomy that she leaves the kitchen. Sayuki becomes frustrated why it has to be about Yuushi when she is going to go out on a date with Katsuya. She decided not to pretend anymore. The next day, Yuushi is going out as his mother says it’s good that people are giving him a birthday party. She asks him to come home tonight so that they can blow the candles together on the cake she’s going to make. Yuushi just says he is going. Outside he complains why they have to blow candles together when he is already a high schooler. Someone then calls out to an idiot [referring to him]. Yuushi is surprised to see Sayuki there. Yuushi is shock why she is there. Sayuki gets angry about that when he was the one who told her to come. Yuushi says that he thought she won’t come. Sayuki says she doesn’t plan on coming because she likes sensei. Yuushi says that he knows. He asks if she came there to reject him. Sayuki says no but rather to clarify things with him. She admitted to liking him before and when she picked up the eraser, she thought that was her chance but Yuushi snubbed her. This made the two shout at each other for bringing those painful things up [rubbing salt on wounds], Yuushi being embarrassed then and etc.

After a while, Sayuki thanks him nevertheless because of that painful memory. Yuushi asks if she is in a hurry. Yuushi says even if she thanked him, he isn’t going to be happy because in the end, he is rejected. “You should hurry and go to the side of that cute old geezer.” This made Sayuki angry. Yuushi asks her if it’s okay to tell him that since he might become talkative and exclaim at the faulty room that Hagiwara dare lay his hand on a student. “Hagiwara would be finished then.” This shocks Sayuki. Yuushi says that he is just joking. “I won’t say it. There’s no other choice then, I’ll just continue on being your fake boyfriend. Goodbye.” Yuushi walks away as Sayuki remembers their childhood days. She smiles and says, “Bye-bye.” At the station, it is raining. She learns that the train will stop for some time because of the rain. She wants to inform Katsuya about it when she realizes that she forgot her mobile phone. She decides to go on ahead since returning home will make her more late than she currently is. Near the station, Katsuya is surprised when Sayuki calls out loudly to him as sensei. She apologizes for being late. She is shock that it is already 3pm. Katsuya says that he is really worried about her since she isn’t answering her phone. Sayuki apologizes for forgetting to bring her mobile phone. Katsuya pats her head and says that it is okay since she is fine. Katsuya tells her that they should go. Sayuki asks weren’t they going to ride the train. Katsuya says that they aren’t.

Katsuya is driving a car. He tells her that it is risky to ride on a public transportation since someone might see them. He says that just then, she just called him sensei. Sayuki apologizes and says that she doesn’t know how else to call him. He tells her to call him Katsuya. This made Sayuki embarrassed as she can’t call him that yet. She assures him that it will be fine since Yuushi will continue on acting as her fake boyfriend. Katsuya asks if that is okay. Sayuki says that Yuushi said so himself a while ago. Sayuki feels bad for going to see Yuushi on the day of their date. Sayuki offers him some candy if he is hungry. Katsuya says he doesn’t want any. Sayuki starts to cry as she thinks that she is a disappointing girlfriend for being late and even seeing another guy on their first date. This shocks Katsuya as he tells her that he isn’t angry. Sayuki still cries and thinks that she is stupid. Katsuya then points outside. They head out to the beach to see the sunset. Sayuki realizes that this is where they first get together. Walking at the beach, Sayuki remembers going there to look for some cool-looking guy. She wonders why she met him. Katsuya teases her about what if she found a young guy, then she can make lovey-dovey in public. Thinking that he likes to bully her, Sayuki answers back that isn’t it the same with him, it would have been better if he goes out with a beautiful lady. To her shock, he says that he actually likes older women. He then says he is joking and it’s alright since as he recall that day, he still thinks that Sayuki is the cutest. Katsuya smiles as Sayuki is embarrassed. Sayuki decides to eat a candy. Katsuya asks for one. Sayuki says that he just said that he doesn’t want it. She is surprised when Katsuya kissed her and says that it tastes like chocolate. Sayuki blushes. He asks what it is. She says nothing. Katsuya asks what she meant by that.
