Chapter 11
After the kiss Koichi says that it's fine if she loves Mase. But she shouldn't deny him. He wants her to watch the game, to see who's better him or Mase, who scores more points. He says he wants her to watch him play. Aki's all flustered. After that Koichi leaves Aki alone under the bridge. The next scene is basketball training. One of the team member says that Houjou has been acting weird lately. He's trying too hard, they wonder if his leg's alright. Aki makes a pained expression upon hearing that and Mase's drinking water and just staring. Then Mase draws a slogan (I can't read it, I'm sorry T_T), Mogicchi freaks out because of it for some reason xD Then Mase says he has something to ask Houjyou about. Just how much does the teacher know. Apparently Mase says that Koichi's level of playing has changed. The teacher definitely knows something, and he wants him to speak. Natsumi's with Mase at that moment. The teacher says that an accident occurred in December last year. He says that Koichi's bone was fractured (diaphyseal bone). The teacher said he was really sad to see him all depressed in the hospital. Natsumi sadly asks how did it happen. The teacher says that he was protecting the one he loves. And there's a flashback of Koichi saving Aki. So that's the reason why Koichi's playing level dropped. Both Natsumi and Mase are shocked. Then Natsumi angrily exclaims so that's why Aki's going out with him, for his sake, not thinking about her own feelings, what the hell is that, it's just stupid. But the teacher says it's not so bad. Koichi listened to his girlfriend's words and started recovering, feeling better. Then Mase seriously asks if Mogicchi still thinks that. Mogicchi says that they don't understand how painful it is in Koichi's heart. Afterwards Mase and Natsumi are walking home. Mase asks what she's thinking about. Natsumi says that it's for Aki's sake that Koichi-kun doesn't show his pain, and she knew that Aki's in love with Mase. Then suddenly Natsumi exclaims that she doesn't want it. But Mase hugs her with one hand and tells her that he sees only her and she shouldn't be worrying. Back at school Aki comes to Mogicchi and says she wants to help during the game. He asks if it's because she's worried about Koichi, she says yes. Aki thinks that she'll be able to support Koichi during the game. The next day it's the game day and Mase's arguing with one of the team member guy from the opposite team apparently and afterward the game starts. Koichi scored, then Mase's got the ball but Koichi steals the ball. Aki and the other players are watching and she's worried. The other players wonder what happened, why is Koichi so anxious about basketball today, it feels as if Koichi's playing alone and not paying attention to the team. Aki looks worried as she remembers that Koichi told her to watch who scores more - him or Mase. Koichi's knee is all in sports bandages, he looks at it and at that moment the guy with whom Mase was arguing before reveals that he heard what Koichi said to Aki. This shocks Koichi and he loses the ball to that guy. The guy comments how pitiful Koichi is. At that moment he scores and Koichi touches his knee which apparently started hurting. During the break, Aki's putting new bandages on Koichi's knee. While she's doing it (With a sad face), Koichi sadly asks why is he in this place. This shocks Aki, she stands up and sits near him and they both sit together silently, their faces are not shown. At that moment Mase punches both their heads with his fists and angrily exclaims where are they looking and called them both idiots. Mase exclaims who's Koichi's rival, isn't it him, Mase? Both are surprised. Mase says that he's right in front of his eyes, so he better look at him carefully. It was not a mistake to come to this school and Mase and everyone else definitely believe in him. All players gather around Koichi and Aki. Koichi blushes a bit. Apparently they are losing right now. Back to game... Koichi and Mase are cooperating now and score quite a few points, they even give each a fist bump, so now the difference in points between teams is small. But suddenly the guy from another team appears and he sees Koichi's bandages and slightly kicks him in the knee from behind. Everyone's shocked and Koichi falls on the floor and grabs his knee, it seems that it hurt a lot.

Chapter 12
It's apparently a time-out and all the players of his team gather around Koichi. They say that it's serious and it's impossible for him to continue the game. But Koichi says that he came to this school and he met all of them, and he doesn't want to disappoint anyone and they shouldn't decide for him. Aki says that he can do it. The teammates say that the oppose team did such a bad thing, they might try something like that again. Aki says she'll just bandage him up really well. Aki says she'll protect their feelings, for that she'll do anything. The other teams angrily exclaims why are they scared and when are they going to continue. Both Mase and the other team's captain evilly smile at each other. Mase turns to Koichi and says that it'll get violent. Mogicchi smiles, Mase and Koichi and others too. Now it's 5 minutes left and they're behind by 5 points. Koichi's trying his best but it looks like his knee's hurting a lot. Aki's watching and she mentally tells Koichi to become stronger. Then there are quite a few panels of them playing and Aki screaming (something like support). Then it's only 3 seconds left and everyone's frozen and watching. Koichi scores and they win. Everyone's shocked. All the players pat Koichi. Then he goes to Aki, blushes a bit, smiles and thanks Aki. She starts crying. Koichi reaches his hand out to Aki and she puts her hand in his. He says he was able to convey his feelings, because he loves Aki, loves her face, loves how she does her best. While saying all that he hugs her. But he apologizes for behaving like that. Aki's crying and while still in Koichi's arms her eyes meet with Mase's, who's drying himself with a towel. He looks without any expression on his face and passes by. Still teary-eyed, Aki smiles and says that she's happy to have met him. This surprises Koichi and he smiles and says he feels the same, then he leaves. Natsumi's waiting outside the building. Aki comes up to her and apologizes for all her behavior up till now. But she's always loved Mase and now she wants to follow him. Natsumi slaps her across the face and screams why didn't Aki start going out with Mase sooner, why won't she think about her feelings, won't her decision hurt others? Aki just silently stands. She says she won't be late again. Natsumi says that she can like him, it's her choice. The next scene is Aki walking home alone. She sees Natsumi and Mase getting on the bus. She runs after them, calls out Mase, but he only smiles and waves. She then gets an email from him saying (there's no hiragana, so I can't really read it),but if I got it right Mase and Natsumi are going to a love hotel. Aki's shocked, she then asks a random passer by for his bike and chases after the bus. All flustered, she calls out to Mase and both Mase and Natsumi are shocked to see her chasing after the bus. Mase opens the window and says "Murakami?" Aki screams "Don't go to the hotel, idiot!" Koichi understands what's going on (About her feelings). Blushing Aki says she loves Mase. Mase's wide-eyed. At that moment a stone gets into Aki's bike and she falls off the bike and off the road. Meanwhile on the bus, Natsumi screams that enough already, it's annoying and Mase should just be honest with his feelings and go to Aki. Natsumi says all that with her back turned at him, and she's crying. Back to Aki, she's lying on the grass and says it hurts, "What am I doing..." Mase comes to Aki and grumbles, what is all that, he always has to help her, he says as he lifts the bike from the ground. Aki's surprised and she blushes. Then she's all red as she exclaims that she doesn't want to hear it from him. Mase smiles and blushes too. Then he touches her hair which surprises Aki. He then offers her a hand to stand up. Aki's almost crying and she just hugs Mase, saying he's unfair. Since she didn't like him, he shouldn't be nice to her, he shouldn't notice her, otherwise she'd gradually fall in love with him. Mase silently pulls away, stands up, takes his bag and turns his back on her. Aki's surprised and crying. Then Mase suddenly turns around, grabs Aki's arm and lifts her till she stands and hugs her. He tells her he won't stop (behaving like that), because he loves her and calls her an idiot. Aki cries. She then dries her face with his shirt which annoys him. He tells her not to cry. Mase blushes. Mase looks at the sky, then points his finger to the left and says "What.. Did you see that?"Aki turns her head at that direction and Mase suddenly kisses her. Then he turns his back on her and tells her they should go back and with his hand invites her to go with him. Mase's very embarrassed and blushing. Blushing, Aki smiles. As they hold hands she thinks that there's only one thing to be said "I love you".
