Continue from chapter 12: October, her relationship with Sensei was found out by the school. Mimi and Sensei are called to the principal's office. The principal yells "What is the meaning of this!? Having this kind of relationship with a student is an action similar to a crime!" Mimi is frightened, she tells the principal that she asked the Sensei to like her, and took off her clothes and threw herself at him. Mimi also lies that Sensei was trying to stop her. The principal asks Sensei if its true, and he replies "Yes, what Ichito (Mimi) said was true." Mimi looked shocked at the moment, but soon as they leave the principals office, Sensei says "I'm sorry Mimi, I had to lie to protect our relationship." Mimi replies "Okay" and they hug. The school resolved the matter as the student's self-will.Mimi's family and other students are not informed about what happened between Mimi and sensei but rumors spread like crazy. Girls in the class talks about Mimi saying "She seems innocent but I guess you can't tell by her face." Mimi tells herself that school will end in half a year. It was a rough time for Mimi but she says that she was able to think "it's okay" as long as Sensei was with her. One day, Sensei gives Mimi a stone stud earring, saying that it'll look good on her. Mimi is surprised and says that she doesn't have her ears pierced. Sensei says that he knows and he said that he wants to pierce it for her. Mimi immediately rebels saying she can't take pain. Sensei asks Mimi if she doesn't want to go through pain together with him. Sensei pierce a hole on Mimi's ears, and Mimi pierce his. They'll wear a matching stud. "From now on even when Mimi goes to high school, grows up and becomes an adult, when they are separated, I want to feel connected with you." "I wan to have a 'bond' with you, is that a little too child-ish?" says Sensei and Mimi was moved. Then they pierce each other's ears and creates their "bond." "Be mine forever Mimi." Mimi thought that she was happy at that time but now that she's thinking about it, she always felt anxious only having sex with Sensei every time they met secretly. But their relationship continued 2 years after that.

One day Mimi's mother yells at her and asks her where she's going, if she is planning to go see a guy. She yells at Mimi that it's disgusting for her to be doing that when she's only a child, and tells her that she's not going anywhere. Later, Mimi sees her father at a restaurant and he apologize to her for not taking care of her mother and unable to lover her mother anymore. Her parents were already living separated but it was a limit for her father now. Mimi sees her mother holding a divorce papers, she tries to cheer he up by cooking but her mother is always full from drinking everyday. One day, Mimi comes home and sees the food she cooked for her mother in the garbage. Mimi exclaims "How terrible, why did you throw away the food I cooked for you!? I worked hard cooking this for you, I have school work and other things to worry about but I wanted you to feel better so..." Her mother slaps her and interrupt her. She grabs Mimi's hair and says "Since you don't seem to notice, I'm going to tell you. You tend to sacrifice your self for others sake, you act like your innocent and cute. But you use that to get people to love you. It's not all about you!, your father leaves after finding a new lover. I bet your going to some guys house! You can't talk about others, your lonely as much as me!" Mimi is beyond shocked, she runs away and before she notice, she's by Sensei's house. Then she sees Sensei's arm over Mihashi sensei (another teacher I don't know.) Mihashi sensei says "Kazuya (Sensei), your were going out with her too? (referring to Mimi)" Mimi heartbroken, asks why? but Sensei didn't reply. Her mother Followed her and sees what's happening but didn't say a word. Mimi later says "I think I actually knew that this was coming. Sensei didn't care if it was me or not, he didn't love me either. Mimi stopped emailing (aka texting) each other and her mother, who saw all of this just said "Men are like this." The worst comment she can ever hear. Mimi wanted to die, she wanted to end everything right now. So she went to the roof and was about to jump down but then, she saw the ocean. At that moment, Mimi cries that she didn't want to die. She remembers her 3 friends waiting for her at the island, and Hikari (I think) saying that whenever Mimi feels lonely or hurt, she can come back anytime. I'll come to pick you up. Mimi still crying decided to leave everything she had and move back to the island.

Chapter 14After telling Yousuke about everything that happened in Tokyo, Mimi tells him that she is going to go back to Tokyo for a visit. She's worried about her mother's health and want to officially end her relationship with Sensei. Even though she tries to ignore the phone calls and texts from him, he would just call her to another number until he can reach like the last time. (referring to ch. 12) Mimi thinks that she needs to go tell Sensei to stop calling her. Yousuke thinks that just telling Sensei to not call her isn't going to end their relationship, he thinks that Sensei still likes Mimi. Yousuke worries that if Mimi goes to see Sensei, she's going to feel attracted to him once again. But Mimi says no, because she definitely wants to return back to the Island. She loves the sky and the ocean, her friends who gives her so much love, and most of all, Hikari, who still loved her after all this time. That's why she has to go back to Tokyo to throw away her past life. Before Mimi leaves the Island, she calls Hikari to meet her at the shrine. His surprised to hear that she's going to Tokyo so suddenly. She tells him that it's only for one night so there's nothing to worry. Hikari doesn't believe her because she called him out to a shrine. She must be worried about her mother. But he says that he'll wish for her mothers better health for Mimi too. Mimi thinks about how much she loves Hikari's straight forwardness and how much she needs him. Since Hikari is wishing for Mimi's mother's health, Mimi decides to wish to be Hikari forever. After that, Hikari kisses her good bye and the boat leaves the Island. Mimi surprisingly finds Yousuke tagging along with her to Tokyo

It's been a while since Mimi has been to Tokyo, which made her feel melancholy because nothing good ever happened there. On their way to the hospital, they decided to stop at McDonalds because Yousuke never ate there before. While they are eating, Mimi act all cheerful and happy. But soon, Yousuke notices that she's pretending to be happy and tell her to stop because he doesn't know how to support her when she's acting like that. Soon as she hears that, Mimi starts to cry out. She says that she doesn't have the guts to go see her mother and sensei, and cries over how weak she is and how she can't fight them. Yousuke laughs at Mimi for how honest she is, that Mimi became more honest with her feelings after she started dating Hikari. Yousuke tells her that people who can show their true feelings so easily is part of being strong which Yousuke always had trouble with. His not honest with his feelings, they don't even show on his face, which makes him a mysterious type according to the girls. Mimi was surprised that he mention the world "girls," it made her want to ask more about his love stories. He said he was uncomfortable talking about his current love, but he told her that he was sometimes rude to Hikari because his first love was taken from him (his talking about Mimi.) Mimi blushes and thinks that Yousuke has become cool over the years. They leave McDonald after that and head to the hospital. Simultaneously, Sensei happens to be walking by and sees Mimi walking with Yousuke so happily, a sudden shock of jealousy hits him. They reach to their destination and Mimi says bye to Yousuke, who told her to call her if anything happens. Mimi goes into the hospital and ask the front desk for the location of her mother but they tell her that she is not there. Her mother did come to the hospital a week ago but left right after getting a shot. Mimi's phone rings and it was a text from Sensei. it said: Did you make up with your mother? After visiting your home, come over to my apartment. Mimi actually goes to his apartment and ask him why he lied to her. He says "Now now, let's talk inside." and the door to his apartment slammed closed dramatically. Marking it the end of chapter.
