Chapter 5
Nina is shocked about Kyousuke and Asou hugging and that Asou has a boyfriend. There is summer festival going on. But this time, since Kyousuke is going with his friends and Keisuke with his girlfriend, Nina is left by herself and end up looking after Keisuke and his girlfriend since they’re too young. Kyousuke and Asou are left by themselves since Kyousuke’s friends left them so that they found girls to hang around with. Nina sees them together and when Kyousuke left, Asou tells her that Kyousuke’s side is so comfortable. Nina is jealous of the fact that Asou is able to touch Kyousuke the way she was when Nina saw them together. Then Keisuke comes and tells that Mayu-chan (his girlfriend) is missing.

Chapter 6
Nina is running around all by herself trying to find Mayu-chan in the rain. Kyousuke comes back and is informed about Mayu-chan gone missing and Nina is still not back yet. Kyousuke runs to find them ignoring Asou when she said he should wait for a little bit more. Nina is thinking if it was Kyousuke, then he would be calm about this. Luckily she finds Mayu-chan but from being so nervous, she almost faints, but Kyousuke catches her. He tells her that she shouldn’t go without thinking anymore (something like this happened in the past) and she tells him that she’s not going to because she want to stay next to Kyousuke forever. They go back to everyone safely, Keisuke being dumped though and Asou looking as if she doesn’t fit in with those people. Nina is ill from running around in the rain, and Kyousuke comes in to her room before school. Nina confesses again to Kyousuke, saying even if you couldn’t see me in that way before but please look at me from now on. But Kyousuke just said he’s sorry and that he will see her in the way he saw her before. After the club, Asou confesses to Kyousuke saying she wants to be his number one.

Chapter 7
Kyousuke rejects Asou by questioning whether he will be her number 1 in her heart. But before she answers, Kuwagawa comes in, not bothered at all about the text that Asou send to him which said “I want to break up”. Kyousuke is angry for Asou but Kuwagawa leaves. Asou tells Kyousuke about her feeling, how she’s being using him so that Kuwagawa would notice her. While Nina was asleep, Kyousuke comes in and wake her up telling her that he have a girlfriend now so this is the last time he will be coming into her room like this. Nina is too shocked, and wants him to look at her, she kisses Kyousuke. But Kyousuke leaves saying “I’m sorry”. Asou notice Nina and Kyousuke are both ill and asks Kyousuke whether he got his cold from Nina, and asks whether she can hold hands with him. Nina see them holding hands from her class, she starts to cry thinking I’m not by Kyousuke’s side anymore.

Chapter 8
There is firework festival and Nina is asked by her friends whether they can all go together. She was going to say that every year she watches from her house with Kyousuke and Keisuke, but tells them it’s nothing. Nina’s room has her curtain and window closed even though its so hot since otherwise, she can hear his voice. She hears knocking on the window so she rushes to it but she finds Keisuke outside with fruits. Asou is angry of the fact that Kyousuke isn’t asking her to go and see fireworks with her, and she tells him that all her time is for Kyousuke. Nina leaves to see fireworks with her friends, and just when she went outside, she sees Kyousuke and Asou together. Asou comes into Kyousuke’s room, and Asou sees Nina’s black board with a message for Kyousuke. then she remembers the cold that Kyousuke had. Asou asks Kyousuke whether he watched fireworks with Nina and hugs him. Kyousuke blushes, and Asou tells him that its comfortable. Kyousuke moves towards Asou and probably going to kiss her. Nina is with her friends but when she saw the fireworks, she remembers being with Kyousuke and Keisuke and watching them from their house, thinking she can’t forget about her love that easily. Last image is Asou unbuttoning Kyousuke’s shirt.
