Chapter 13
We are starting from where the last chapter ended with Miyake confessing to Nina, which leaves everyone pretty surprised. Nina is speechless and confused. While trying to say something normal, she starts to stutter saying, "sorry" and "thank you", in which Miyake catches her by saying that it's alright. Kyou is just looking at all this in shock. Nina chan, who is blushing intensely, says that she's going home for today and heads on her way, leaving the other three in an intense atmosphere. Miyake and Kyou are glancing at each other. As Miyake leaves, Yuiko breaks the silence saying that she is surprised that Nina is so popular and asks Kyou whether he knows that. He answers no while looking distracted. Yuiko notices that and glances away sadly. She tells him how she doesn't quite understands it, but isn't it better if he doesn't let Nina be misunderstood (I guess about his feelings) and she feels sorry about that boy... He replies that he agrees with her. Meanwhile, Nina who is still feeling embarrassed while standing on the balcony, is thinking how this is the first time somebody has confessed to her and wonders if Kyou has returned home. She feels that she can't face him today but on the other hand, she thinks about how he has carried her on his back and she has to thank him. She tries to jump onto his balcony and almost fell but Kyou manages to catch her at the last moment. He calls her stupid and puts her back to her balcony. She then comments about how he was there (the confessionthing) and he replies it was surprising. Nina asks what was and says that she has something to tell him. She then starts telling a long story about how she wouldn't win if he did not help her and look after her even though it's so hot outside...when he interrupts her by saying to cut it short . Nina puts on a big smile and says, "Thank you! " which he is indifferent about, saying it's the second time and when she asks him what, he just replies "nothing" as he's sitting back to where he was. Then he asks her if that guy is somebody from her class. She recalls the confession again and becomes embarrassed and shouts that he is Miyake but he's just a classmate and that there's nothing between them. Kyou just gets up and without showing his face says, "Good night". Nina is left on the balcony wondering whether Kyou worries about Miyake and her..The next day at school, Nina's friend asks her if she wants to go to Minami High's cultural festival. She happily says yes, and her friend says she should really go because maybe something will happen with Tachibana senpai. Nina is looking concerned when she notices Miyake glancing at her.

She becomes embarrassed again and starts drawing which leaves her friend curious over what had happened when Miyake approaches her desk. He asks her to come along with everybody to the cultural festival. Nina is speechless as everybody else around her are saying that they want to go, and that Nina has to tag along because Tachibana senpai will guide her through...In the meantime, Miyake is standing in front of her, glancing (more like staring) at her. And so, they went to the festival together. The girls are enjoying themselves because this is so much different from a middle school`s cultural festival. Her friend suggests going to Tachibana's classroom and Nina says that at this time, he's probably at club activity. She starts thinking about how she hasn't spoken with Miyake even once since that time, and that now it feels like that confession has never happened. Then suddenly, somebody says at loud that there is such a cute kid and Nina realizes that they're talking about Keisuke and Mayu. They are happy to see each other and Keisuke informs her that Kyou is still in the middle of preparations. Then they hear noises from inside the classroom; students telling Kyou how he is so cute and starting from today, they will be calling him Kyouko. They open the door as Yuiko introduces member number one, Kyouko, which makes everybody shocked to see a girly Kyou, much to Kyou's embarrassment. The girls are screaming with hearts around them. Keisuke is spechless at how pretty Kyou actually is. Kyou withdraws himself and Yuiko welcomes Nina. They say to Yuiko that it really suits her and she replies that it's Kyou's uniform, which makes Nina somehow uncomfortable. She then explains that she wore his uniform so that Kyou cannot escape.

Then she ask Nina if she wants to swap clothes with her boyfriend (thinking about Miyake). Nina explains while holding her hands that they are not like that. Yuiko continues that it's great, it feels like being held in the arms of the guy that you like. Nina is now really sad and Miyake saves the day by taking her arm and saying that he's taking her to the haunted house. They left Yuiko looking surprised. Nina is sitting and waiting for Miyake who has gone off to grab some drinks. She asks him what about the haunted house and that she'll go if he wants to. He says no, leaving Nina confused. Then she says that she's sorry but she likes Kyou. He replies, "I know that". He says that she is always running around Tachibana-senpai, and sometimes the other senpai girls are so jealous but she didn`t notice it. She's surprised and asks him how come he is always there at such moments..he continues without missing a bit that since the ball tournament, Uemura is really admired by guys which makes her embarrassed. Then he tells her that because she only thinks of Tachibana, he thought he would feel stupid if she was taken away by others. Both of them are now in silence as he starts making weird sounds, which alarms her. it appears that Miyake is choking on his juice. But he tells her that he is fine, so she shouldn't look at him (because he's embarrassed by his words). He turns around at her, furiously blushing when suddenly, her friends come looking for her. She asks Nina why did she disappear and Nina replies that she's going back to the festival now, leaving Miyake alone. The chapter ends with Nina's thoughts - "What should I do? This is the first time my heart is running around because of another guy beside Kyou. “

Chapter 14 starts with a girly Kyou welcoming customers by saying to enjoy themselves to their heart's content. Yuiko and the others are complimenting Kyou(ko) much to his dismay when he notices Nina and Miyake coming together which shocks him. Nina's friend says they come again. Nina praises Kyou for look so cute but he doesn't really want to be seen in such clothes. Yuiko interrupts by wishing them a fun time while watching the clock like she's expecting something . Then a girl comes, asking Yuiko for help behind the scene. Yuiko's ex has also come to the festival, asking at the info desk where's the baseball club. When he enters the room, everybody is surprised to see Kumegawa and he tells them that they have done a great job. Yuiko heard his voice and is shocked to see him there. He greets her asking her how is she and did she get use to be Number One. Blushing, she replies to him to shut up. Kumegewa then sees Kyou and is amazed at how great he looks and decides that he also wants to wear female clothes. Nina is looking at Kumegawa (who is enjoying himsef as he is dressed in lady's clothes) and remembering how he's that guy that Yuiko met. Her friend then asks her what she wants to order and Kumegawa, hearing that name exclaims, “Are you Nina? Kyou`s childhood friend. I'm Yuiko's ex“. They are all astounded by his introduction. Then he tells her that even after they broke up, he is following her. The others in class are shocked to hear that they were dating and Kumegawa says it's true, but he was dumped. An angry Yuiko tries to says that it's not true but he interrupts her by saying to her to leave it at that. She's embarrassed and asks him why is he mentioning that because it has nothing to with anything. He tells her not to get mad, he'll stop now. The girls from the info desk who recognized him has also come to the class room which makes Kumegawa rather hyper. Then he says that he's already going for a new love and asks Nina, who is now sitting next to him, if she's free and whether she will go out with him. Miyake then raises his hand saying that he is aiming for Nina. That shocks Kumegawa and makes Nina's friends happy as they are encouraging of the idea. Kumegawa says that he has a rival but he still doesnt want to give up a. Kyou is starting to get very pissed. Kumegawa gets really close to Nina by saying how she is so cute, blushing like that. She becomes embarrassed and seems uncomfortable when an angry Kyou(ko) breaks them apart with a glass and asking him to knock it off. "Don't you hate it?" Kumegawa starts laughing that he is just joking and Kyou who is still pissed , says to stop it even if it's a joke.

Kumegawa then breaks the silence by saying that isn't it fine if he's meddling with Nina a little bit and Kyou sharply says it's not fine which makes everybody speechless and the atmosphere to become more tense. Kyou tells him seriously that because she's very important, it's not fine. Nina is blushing uncomfortable with the whole situation and Yuiko seems affected as well. Kyou then continues saying that since they are always together, she's like a sibling. Kumegawa comments how he is so straight forward. Glancing at Yuiko, he says that everybody is now in a weird mood and they should get back to having fun. Miyake is worred about Nina, while Kyou finds Yuiko hiding and tells her that it is time to return him his uniform. She stares at him for a while and then says that she won't and if she gives it back, what will she get in return. Kyou looking confused, says " nothing“. She says she doesn't understand. He kneels beside her and asks her if it was her, maybe, who called Kumegawa, which startles her. She tells him that she's anxious because he's always running to Nina when she's in trouble and she wanted to know who is his Number One. He then hugs her. Meanwhile, Nina and her gang of friends are preparing to leave and as the other girls have to use toilet, she is alone with Miyake again. Nina is happily talking to Miyake on how it was fun today and the weather is also great, but suddenly thinks about Kyou saying that she's a very important person, and that he feels like she is his sister. Miyake then tells her that it is ok if she cries, because she is always smiling in front of others. She remembers how Kyou said he can't see her in that way (as a girl) and today, when he said she's like a sibling, it really crushes her feelings that she starts to tear up. The chapter ends with her crying and thinking that she knew that already, as Kyou and Yuiko are kissing in the background..

Translator's Notes - Wow...I'm really rooting for Miyake. Not just because Kyou is playing with them, but Miyake is much more handsome and mature.
